Terms of Service
Last updated 2 September 2026. This is a placeholder structure for legal review — the wording is not final and has not been approved by counsel.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a ConnectaHub account or making a booking, you agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. What ConnectaHub is
ConnectaHub coordinates bookings with independently verified vendors — it does not itself provide stays, transport, catering or events. Each booking is a contract between you and the vendor, facilitated through our platform.
3. Bookings & payments
A deposit secures a confirmed vendor; the balance is collected before the service date. Prices are shown in ₦ before you commit, including anything payable later. Nothing is charged until you explicitly confirm.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation terms are set per vendor and shown before you book. Funds held in escrow are returned to your wallet if a confirmed service does not happen through no fault of your own.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for travelling with valid documents, and for following the rules and age policies of any event or venue you book.
6. Vendor relationship
Vendors on ConnectaHub have passed KYC/KYB verification, but ConnectaHub is not a party to the service itself. Disputes about service quality are mediated through Concierge and our verification standards.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use ConnectaHub for fraudulent bookings, to circumvent vendor verification, to harass vendors or staff, or for any purpose that violates Nigerian law.
8. Liability
ConnectaHub holds and releases payment on your behalf and verifies vendors before they can list, but is not liable for a vendor’s performance of the underlying service beyond the protections described in Trust & Safety.
9. Account suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attempts to defraud a vendor or traveller, or repeatedly fails verification checks.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be notified in-app before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
